Preaching Workshop ’25
God is pleased to work through the preaching of His Word — both in the moment, as hearers sit under it, and over time, as a flock is faithfully fed week after week. But what sustains a pastor in this work for the long haul? What must he understand about preaching to endure? And how does God’s purpose for preaching strengthen him to stay the course?
On Thursday, August 21, just before the new semester begins, local pastors and seminarians will gather to explore these questions together. We’ll hear from Tony Merida, Lewis Guest, and David Mathis as we consider what it means to persevere in the preaching task with faithfulness and joy.
